This Conference is a satellite conference of the International Congress of Mathematicians (Madrid, 22-30 August 2006).
It is organized as an activity of the European Research Network Arithmetic Algebraic Geometry.
The Conference will take place at "Residencia San José", a private Residence Hall in "El Escorial" where all the participants could stay during the conference (see Lodging).
The topics covered by this "International Conference on Arithmetic Algebraic Geometry" will be structured along three main themes.
A) Arithmetic of varieties over local fields.
B) Arithmetic of varieties over global fields.
C) Automorphic forms and the Langlands Program.
