Título: On the hyperbolicity of arc complexes and some of their relativesResumen: The mapping class group of a surface acts on the so called arc complex A(S). The action motivates the study of A(S) and its properties. In this talk, we sketch the proof of Hensel, Przytycki and Webb that A(S) is connected and uniformly hyperbolic. Furthermore, we will discuss the connectivity and hiperbolicity of related arc complexes, answering a question of Zaremsky.
