I am a PhD student and teaching assistant (profesor ayudante) in the Mathematics Department at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. My thesis advisor is Dmitry Yakubovich. The topics of my thesis are the study of complete K-spectral sets using test collections (this is related to the test functions developed by Dritschel and McCullough) and some tools that we have developed to study commuting nonselfadjoint operators using algebraic curves (this is related to the theory of Livsic-Vinnikov of tuples of commuting nonselfadjoint operators).
