Sage is a free open-source mathematics software system licensed under the GPL. It combines the power of many existing open-source packages into a common Python-based interface.

The Sage Days are a series of workshops where Sage developers and users meet and discuss their achievements, interests and projects. The Sage Days include talks on recent mathematical research using computational tools, and also on algorithms and mathematical software related topics. An important activity of the Sage Days is the coding sprints, where developers work together on improving the code and programming new functionalities for Sage.

The Barcelona meeting will be the 16th edition of the Sage Days. It will take place at the Facultat de Matemàtiques i Estadística (FME) of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC).
